Getting Started with TipTree.io Guide

Welcome to TipTree.io, the platform designed by musicians, for musicians. This step-by-step guide will walk you through creating and managing your account.

Step 1: Create Your Account

  1. Visit TipTree.io and click on “Sign Up Today!”
  2. Fill in your necessary information including your name, email, and create a password.
  3. Click on “Create Account”.
  4. You’ll receive a confirmation email. Click the link in that email to verify your account.

Step 2: Plan Selection

  1. Choose the plan that suits your needs (TipTree.io offers multiple plans with varying features).
  2. If you select a paid plan, fill in your payment details. Don’t worry, there is a 30-day Free Trial period.

Step 3: Personalize Your Account

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Add your profile picture and cover image.
  3. Fill in your bio and other personal details.
  4. Don’t forget to add your social media profiles or any other custom links.

Step 4: Create Your Landing Page

  1. Click on “Landing Pages” on your dashboard.
  2. Select “Create New Landing Page”.
  3. Add relevant details about your music, pictures, and links.

Step 5: Set Up Your Setlists

  1. Navigate to “Setlists” from your dashboard.
  2. Click “Create New Setlist”.
  3. Add or upload your songs.

Step 6: Add Your Setlist to Landing Page

  1. Click back into your “Landing Pages”.
  2. Select the landing page you want to add your setlist to.
  3. In the “Setlist” section, select the setlist you created.
  4. Save your page.

Step 7: Promote Your Page

Creating and Setting Up Your Setlist on TipTree.io

A step-by-step guide to creating your music setlist on the TipTree.io platform.

Step One: Access Your Dashboard

After logging into your account on TipTree.io, you will be landed onto your artist dashboard. This is where you can oversee and manage your various TipTree.io tools and features.

Step Two: Navigate to the Setlists Section

On the left side menu of your dashboard, find and click on “Setlists”. This will redirect you to the setlist management section of your account.

Step Three: Create a New Setlist

Click the “Create New Setlist” button. This will prompt a pop-up form where you could enter the name of your new setlist. Consider a name that captures the nature or mood of the songs you’re adding. After entering your preferred name, click “Create”.

Step Four: Add or Upload Songs to your Setlist

Now with your new setlist created, it’s time to populate it with your songs. You can add each song manually by clicking on the “Add Song” button and then entering the title of your song on the text box that appears. If you have a pre-prepared list, clicking “Upload Songs” will allow you to add multiple songs at once.

Step Five: Save and Publish your Setlist

Once you’ve added all your desired songs, click the “Save” button. Your new setlist is now created and ready to be added to your landing page or anywhere else you desire it to be displayed.

Step Six: Add your Setlist to Your Landing Page

If you wish to include your setlist to your landing page, navigate back to “Landing Pages” from your dashboard. Then, select the landing page to which you want to add the setlist. Find “Setlists” on your page editing panel, and select the setlist you just created from the dropdown menu. Click “Save” to update your landing page with your new setlist.

Managing Contacts on TipTree.io

Effectively managing your contacts is key to engaging with your fans and succeeding as an artist. TipTree.io provides you with all the tools needed to simplify this process. Here’s how you can effectively manage your contacts:

Step One: Accessing Contacts

Log into your TipTree.io artist account and navigate to your artist dashboard. On the left-side menu, click on the “Contacts” tab to enter your fan contact management interface.

In your Contacts tab, you’ll find key information for each fan contact. This information includes:

Step Three: Importing and Exporting Fan Information

TipTree.io allows you to import a fan one at a time directly into your Contacts. Simply click on the “Add Contact” button and fill in the fan’s details.

To export your fan contact information, click on the “Export” button at the top right corner of the contact list. This feature allows you to use your fan data in other platforms or for your own record keeping.

Step Four: Connecting to Mailing Lists

You can connect your contact list to email marketing services such as Mailchimp or Constant Contact. To do so:

  1. Navigate to “Settings” on your artist dashboard.
  2. Click on the “Connections” tab.
  3. Follow the prompts to connect your preferred email marketing service.

These connections make it easier to manage fan relationships, send newsletters, or share updates. Please ensure to comply with all data protection and privacy regulations when doing so.

Getting Started with Agreements on TipTree.io

Say hello to Agreements, a feature developed by TipTree.io specifically for musicians. Drawing inspiration from DocuSign, the leading application for sending and signing documents electronically, we’ve designed Agreements with a focused aim – to simplify the process of booking private parties, corporate events, and weddings for musicians. Now you can agree with confidence using our user-friendly signing experiences across virtually any device.

Let’s get started on how to use Agreements on TipTree.io.

Step One: Access Agreements

After logging into your TipTree.io account, navigate to your Artist Dashboard. From the left-side menu, click on the “Agreements” tab.

Step Two: Create a New Agreement

To create a new agreement:

  1. Click on the “Create New Agreement” button.
  2. Fill in the details of the agreement, including the client’s name, event details, and payment information.
  3. Customize your agreement as needed. You can specify terms and conditions, attach important files, and include specific clauses relevant to your performance.

Step Three: Send Agreement for Signing

Once you’ve finalized your agreement, click the “Send” button. The client will receive an email notification to sign the agreement.

Step Four: Tracking Agreement Status

Keep track of your agreements in the “Agreements” tab. You can check their status (“Awaiting Signature”, “Completed”, etc.) and access signed agreements at any time.
